Magic Kingdom

I scheduled Chris off today and we had a wonderful time together. We were able to spend the day together at one of our favorite places and with some of our favorite people. We also met Holly and her family there, with Dane's mom and one of his brothers and of course, Grandma!
There were 15 of us total and to say we moved slowly would be the understatement of the century! But, we had a lot of fun!

Typhoon Lagoon Take 1

Typhoon Lagoon just opened back up Sunday, so the kids and I went today to play and relax.

We had a little shower, but survived it fine and the temperature was perfect!

However, it was shortened because Mom was taken to the emergency room because of shortness of breath and diziness.

They admitted her and determined that it was some new medicine she was on. However, Daddy was on the road, so I headed back over there to be with her. I arrived about 6 in the evening and I was glad to be with her until Dad arrived.

I tried

I needed to work some today, since I didn't go in at all yesterday, but the kids let the dog out when one of them was trying to run away...

You get the idea. Any way, I only got 2 hours in the office, so I came home and got the dog and the kid and put them to work.

The pool needed cleaning!

It's a big job, but they worked for quite a while on it.

Maybe next time, they'll try a little harder to behave?

Visit with Mom and Dad

The kids and I woke up this morning and drove over to Mom and Dad's to spend the day.

We arrive about lunch time and we all went to Cracker Barrel.

After lunch, we went back to Mom and Dad's and just enjoyed spending time together.

When it was time for Dad to go to sleep, a little after 6, the kids and I headed back home. It was a very nice day together.

I know that I should have had my phone out snapping a picture during Sacrament Meeting, but I just couldn't help myself. I loved looking down and seeing Brennan's arm around Lauklan. Brennan had just finished trying to get Lauklan's sirt collar right and then they sat like the picture below for the rest of sacrament meeting.

It makes me happy to see my kids loving each other.

Field Day for Aislinn and Greyson

I went for a little today to see my Greyson and Aislinn participate in their Field Day.

Lauklan went to Saint Augustine today with the fourth grade. His Field Day was yesterday, but I was a bad mommy and didn't go. I hope he'll survive the disappointment.

Wedding day!

Look at that! I got this picutre from Chris' dad yesterday. I can't believe that it has been 18 years already!

When I look at that picture, I am not even sure I look at all like that anymore. It is interesting to me how much we can change.

Life Rank

Brennan has worked hard and perservered even when he wasn't "having fun".

Last week was his Board of Review and tonight was the Court of Honor. Chris and I are very proud of him.

I even got a pin. I'm guessing it is for the imprint of my foot on his backside from pushing him along...

Time Out For Women - Saturday

Today was another day full of uplifting and encouraging messages. I am so glad that I got to go hear what they had to say, feel the spirit and enjoy being with friends.

Following the last speaker, Debbie, Danette, Donna and I headed to The Cheesecake Factory for tasty food and laughs.

It was sad to see Danette go, but I'm glad that we all got to spend some time together.

Time Out For Women - Friday

I guess upside down is better than not on here...

Danette flew in from Wyoming to have a girls weekend at Time Out For Women. Debbie Stanford joined us around 11 tonight.

The messages earlier in the evening were wonderful and I of course loved the music!

Good friends and great messages make a girl happy.

3 - 8!

Chris woke up pretty early this morning and left to go get me a Diet Mountain Dew (and a birthday card). It helped that the alarm clock was apparently set to go off about 6 a.m.

After he got back, we packed up and went to the Grand Floridian Cafe for breakfast.

Then we came back to the resort and hung out by the pool. It was a beautiful day, but quite windy.

When we were done soaking up the rays, we headed over to the Magic Kingdom. Chris really needed a haircut, so he went to the Main Street barber shop. Just so you know, if they ask you if you want a shiny Mickey, you say no!

Following the haircut, we ate dinner at Tony's (not sure why the picture is upside down), and the walked around the park leisurely doing whatever we wanted with NO FUSSING!

It was a beautiful day.

Work Celebration

Today, Mom and Dad had a flower birthday cake and stuffed teddy bear delivered. It is super cute and I love it.

We also had ice cream cake at the office to start off the weekend celebrations!

Girls Birthday Dinner

A few of us ate at Outback tonight to laugh and have a nice time. The objective was achieved!

Derby Time!

We are so proud of Lauklan and Greyson! They did their cars all by themselves this year. They designed them, cut them, sanded them, painted them, the whole thing, with no help!

We had a fun night. As you can see in the picture, Greyson is a little grumpy because he didn't

'win', but he pulled out of it later.

A surprise in the mail

I got the above necklace in the mail today from Mom and Dad! I absolutely love it and I love even more what it says on the back. "My little girl yesterday, my friend today, my daughter forever".

I am so blessed!
